The 101st Airborne Division during Vietnam, Desert Storm, Enduring
Freedom and Iraqi Freedom

Welcome!
This website is dedicated to the men and women who have served with
the 101st Airborne Division during Vietnam, Desert Storm and now Operations Enduring and Iraqi Freedom. The links
listed on the menu bar to the left of the screen will take you to sections of the web site dedicated to each of these time
periods.
The 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) was formed at the beginning of World War Two, and has fought in
almost every major conflict since that time. Beginning as an "Airborne" division with forex market parachute and glider infantry in W.W.II,
the 101st was transformed into "Airmobile" during Vietnam, and later into an "Air Assault" division.

The "Screaming Eagles" are perhaps the most recognized
army division in the world; that reputation having been well earned at Normandy, Holland, and Bastogne during W.W.II... at
Dak To, A Shau Valley, and Dong Ap Bia in Vietnam... as the "Lightning in the Storm" during the Gulf War... and now as one
of the divisions that led the way during Operations Enduring and Iraqi Freedom.
The purpose for this web site is to pay tribute to the men and women
of the Screaming Eagles during the wars after W.W.II., by presenting historical information and personal accounts from the
101st veterans themselves. Any former Screaming Eagle veterans who wish to contribute to this web site can do so by contacting
dave101tlhs@yahoo.com, any contribution is welcome and greatly appreciated.
